The moving party must file a Certificate of Service with the Department of Court Records and deliver a copy to the appropriate department, promptly, and as soon as service is achieved and within 30 days of the issuing of a proof of service order by the court.
Once the Certificate of Service is properly filed with the court, it establishes a legal record that proper notice has been given to all parties, allowing the court proceedings to continue and ensuring that due process requirements have been satisfied.
The form contains a certification that states “I hereby certify that I have this day served the foregoing document upon all parties of record in this proceeding in accordance with the requirements of § 33.32 (relating to service by a participant).” It presents formal proof to the court that all required parties have been properly notified of legal proceedings or documents filed in the case.
